Meet Sam
Sam has been an Anne Arundel County and Maryland resident since 1975. He relocated here from upstate/western New York upon graduation from Oswego State University and spending his youth in the Rochester, N.Y. area. He has since acquired over 40 years in the real estate and housing industry,
Upon arrival in Maryland, Sam taught industrial arts in the public school system for ten years.
At that time, in 1985, the construction/housing bug hit him and after building over 80 homes in Annapolis for a national builder he ventured out on his own in 1987. He acquired his home improvement and contractor’s license and in the next 20+ years completed hundreds of construction projects ranging from your simplest home improvement project to designing and building a million-dollar church in Baltimore City.
During that time Sam acquired his first real estate license. Used primarily for the purpose of investing in real estate he purchased distressed property to renovate and sell, purchased raw ground to subdivide and develop as well purchasing spot lots for the purpose of designing and building custom homes.
Since closing his construction business in 2010 Sam made the commitment to pursue his real estate career full time. He recently found a home with Keller Williams Realty Flagship of Maryland in Millersville, Maryland. He is proud and thankful to be part of the top 500 companies in the Country to work for.
Sam has always been a community activist in AA County. His volunteerism has included running a local youth soccer organization; coaching numerous youth, high school and college athletic teams (including soccer, tennis, and basketball); active member of his community homeowner’s association and the board of directors for a local civic organization. His specific civic activities have included running a local outdoor festival, participation in the National Night Out and he is a member of the Pasadena Business Association.
Sam resides in Pasadena, Maryland with his wife, Debbie, who retired from AA County public school system after teaching for 38 years. Their daughter Jenni is a graduate of Bradley Academy where she received her degree in interior design. Jenni resides in Baltimore City in the Waverley neighborhood.
Sam feels fortunate to have discovered an industry that he is able to leverage all of his life skills while posturing himself to truly help people with the most important investment in their lives. He chose Keller Williams Realty Flagship of Maryland to be the vehicle that can best accomplish that goal. Recently he started the Entrusted Group and is actively growing a team that embraces the philosophy of our tagline: “Treating Every Client Like Family and Every Property, Business and Project Like It’s Our Own”.
